"What kind of flower are you?" a daisy said. "Oh I'm a shut the hell up kind of flower!!" The Ace of Diamonds screamed at her. "You most certainly not a Daisy or a Rose then." A white rose scoffed. Ace of Diamonds mashed her. "Your right but I can kill you with weed begone. So nah who wins NOW!!!!!!!" She did two back flips over to a Lilac. "Melina Kathrine Underwood that's not nice." the lilac said. "Not a nice person!!!" Melina yelled. Why did she even BOTHER coming there. All they do is sing and ask what kind of flower are you? It annoyed her so. The only she didn't have the urge to kill was that one Lilac. She didn't know why.

The Field of Singing Flowers. It was a pleasant place to visit, well if you didn't mind the chatty flora, that is. Lazily swatting away a pesky rocking horse fly, Isabel walked casually through the grass, ignoring the occasional call from a Daisy or a Petunia. She was here often enough. Some flower beds even knew her by name by now. She liked to come here to relax or to enjoy the little concerts the flowers put on. They'd even let her join in with the vocals sometimes if she felt like using her voice box.
Turning her head with the faintest look of confusion, she let her gaze wander about, searching for the source of some kind of sudden screaming. Quirking a brow once she'd found who it was that had been yelling, she watched a moment with silent detachment, observing as the young girl voiced her objections to the flowers' questions before promptly jumping all over them. Well, it was a real shame to lose some of them, as they had such lovely singing voices, but wasn't that why they all had seeds? So they wouldn't all gradually fade away because of a carelessly placed footstep, or in this case, a deliberately placed one.
"Pestering the chorus, are we?" Isabel inquired as she approached the girl, looking with detached indifference down at the mashed flowers, now just a mass of flattened petals and leaves. What a shame. "They really can't help it if they're curious as to what kind of flower you are. It isn't their fault that some of them are so damn vain, always wanting the best to be of their genus. Though, of course there are always a select few that could be weeded out of the garden."

Melina turned to the girl. "They have brains like horse crap." She said. "They should know we aren't flowers. The vain little ass holes." She then exteneded her hand. "Ace of Diamonds." Melina said.

Isabel gave a little grin at the girl's -The Ace of Diamond's- response. She had a point there, there were plenty of humans trapesing about Wonderland, they couldn't all be flowers, as the flora thought they were, now could they? Honestly, not every bit of clothing could look like petals, not every pair of legs like some oddly colored pair of stems. Those flowers really needed to broaden heir mental horizons. "How true. Such narrow minded little creatures they are, tough I will give them some credit. They really know how to sing."
She looked at the hand presented to her for a moment, almost as if she was slightly confused by the gesture before placing her own pale hand into the girl's. Not many people presented her with common courtesies like that. Not many people went out of their way to speak with her. According the them, she was a little absent in the brain. Heh, just goes to show how much they know. She had a whole storm's worth of ideas and thoughts up there. It wasn't her fault she just didn't voice them to others at all times. "Isabel Drake," she replied, offering a small smile.

"I can do better." Melina said. "I'd like to see you try." A pansy said. Melina stomped on it. "Now you can't see anything." Melina mocked. The pansys were the most annoying.

Looking down at the lump of pulp that was once a mouthy Pansy, Isabel couldn't help but laugh at the way this girl interacted with them. "Well I suppose that's one way to deal with their attitudes," she said with a grin, bending down to pick up a discarded petal before straightening her posture once more a fiddling with it in her hands. "Humph, just goes to show you how far that vanity of theirs gets them. Nowhere but driven into the ground."
A smug little grin crossed her features next as she let her gaze wander about the other, still intact flowers, who either pouted and scoffed, or gaped at them and the colorful mush on the ground. "The difference between us and them; they can't squish us that easily. Not to mention that whole different species thing."

"Oh yes the fact that they are plants maybe the difference." Melina laughted. "They are pesky devil aren't they?" "Hey watch your toungue!!!!" A carnation said. "Watch your FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Melina spat back. The other flowers gasped.

"Very pesky, and rather annoying as well with their repetitive questioning. At least some of the beds here know not to ask me what type of flower I am anymore. A few of them had a little... mishap when they did," she replied, grinning and chuckling at the gasping flowers. "Oh dear, now you've gone and brought their faces into it. These vain little things won't like that very much, now will they?" she inquired amusedly. "I wonder which genus would be the biggest shame to lose..." she mused devilishly, knowing that was bound to get the flora started, getting them to make accusations of which one was less attractive than the other and which ones people would miss the most on account of their looks of perfumes.

"Let them bicker." Melina said waveing her hand in the air. "They eat sunlight so how pretty can they be." "Very!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" A posey said. "Ultra." A rose said. "Beautiful." a Pink carnation.

Isabel quirked a bow s she looked back down at the flowers as they retorted tot he Ace of Diamond's comment. "Hmm... let's see now. Plain. Ordinary. Nothing special," she commented, a slender finger pointing to each flower at every word the spoke, sending them into another uproar. With an agitated sigh she eyes one Lily before reaching down and plucking it right out of the ground, receiving some very indecent comments from the flower.
"What do you think? Maybe the answer as to why they're so vain can be found by taking them apart and trying to find it?" she inquired, a dangerous glint in her eyes as she looked over to the Ace and back to the lily. Casually she began to pluck off a few petals and leaves, mumbling things like "Nope, that's not it," and "Nothing yet," before she proceeded to use her fingernail to make a long, vertical slit up the length of the flower's stem, spreading the sticky greenness apart and examining it as if she really was looking for an answer.

Melina laughted. "Many it's an illness in the roses spreading." She picked up a rose. "Nope not yet, still not, nope." Melina said. "Meow!!!!!!!" Jena the black cat said. "Hey Jena!!!!!!"

Isabel's grin widened a little as Ace spoke up again. "A rose, you say? Quite possibly, they're some of the worst out of them all," she replied, dropping the Lily that was now in pieces back onto the ground, her fingertips now stained a nice light green color. Looking over the roses, she picked a red one, paying no heed to the thorns, even as they pricked her fingers. She began stripping those pointy little nuisances off first, anyways. She'd let the white rose alone. Sure that one was a bit of a prima donna, but Isabel really didn't mind her. At least she didn't persist in the questions and protests as often as the other genuses did.
Upon hearing the meow, Isabel looked down at the little black cat, absentmindedly continuing the pull out the roses' red petals, stuffing a few into her pocket. They were such an exquisite color, such a deep red, almost like blood. "What a lovely cat. They can be a little prideful as well, but at least they don't make a huge scene about it. I much prefer them to flowers," she said, dragging her fingernail up the roses' stem as she'd done to the Lily.

"Flowers are fine just not these." Melina laughted. "Cats are much better." "Meow." Jena said. It seemed she aggreed. Melina laughted. Silly cat.

"There are a select few hat aren't so bad. But as they say, one bad apple ruins the bushel," she replied, giving a small shrug as she dropped the battered and broken rose on the ground among the other flowers, the green coloration of her fingertips only having deepened, mixed with specks of red from the thorn pricks. "Cat's are better," she agreed, chuckling as the cat meowed again. "And so agreeable, too."

"Oh yes plus they are MUCH more loving." Melina Petted Jena. "Meow." Jena purred. "We are loving." A purple daisy said. But it didn't say much because Jena attacked it. Then ate it.

"At least they care about others besides themselves," Isabel replied, scoffing at the muttering flowers. Didn't those things ever shut up for two seconds? She couldn't help but laugh as the cat -Jena- pounced on and ate one of them. Now there was a feline that had good taste. "Sure you're loving," she said, even though the flower she was addressing was most likely dead. "Unfortunately the only ones you are loving toward in your own self. It's a good thing no one's given them a looking glass or they'd really never give it a rest."

"What a pleasant disposition your little feline possesses," Isabel commented, reaching out to run a fingertip along the length of the cat's back. They always had such soft fur, it was pleasing to the touch and very well maintained. "Very much nicer and so openly affectionate. Though I must say, if a flower tried rubbing against my leg like a cat does, I'd be a little concerned.
((Cool, my mum bought us that last night. I haven't watched it yet, probably will tonight. In English, though. =P))

Isabel gave a nod at the Ace's statement. She agreed completely, people nowadays were just so self-centered. Some of them weren't so bad and she could tolerate them, but others just drove her insane... well, more insane than she already was. "Yes, it does do that," she replied, falling back into a shallow look of detachment. Good ol' absent in the brain Isabel, always detached or lost looking, as if confused about everything that went on around her in this crazy Wonderland. At least it was more entertaining here than in the real world, or so she'd heard. "But, I suppose if everyone acted so pleasantly, we wouldn't be able to properly appreciate those that actually do act in such a way to us."
((I think the DVD is in English, but I'm not positive. I not, I'm using subtitles. ^^;; ))
