Mouse's eyes widened at the thought of tea. She had forgotten all about the fact that that had been the reason for her even coming here The relief was apparent on her face as he reassured her that he was not in fact upset at her at all. You see, Mouse was always so quick to jump to conclusions. It was how she was. Quick to anger, quick to be sad, quick to be happy. The poor thing changed her mood more often than the hands of the clock moved. One moment up, next down. It was just how she was, and always would be. Perhaps that's why so many dubbed her as a child. She did have mood swings like a little girl would - and threw temper tantrums that could match that of evn the Heart Queen (Although she didn't exactly have the same power and pull of the man).
Moving over to the closest chair, Mouse pulled it over so that she was sitting right at his right elbow. Before she sat, she collected the tea pot and poured him another cup, and handed it to him with a sweeter than pie smile. Mouse was rather easy to like, if you gave her the chance. She could be sweet and affectionate (unless of course you were the March hare, and then you were just plain out of luck), and she would take a bullet for you. Not that Mouse knew what a bullet was, but she'd do it.
Mouse then went to pour herself a cup, but then blushed, ears flat aginst the top of her head again, and sheepishly glanced over at him, mummbling, "It's bad luck to pour your own cup of tea..."[/font]

The Hatter watched as the Mouse pulled herself a chair over and then poured him a cup of tea. He didn't have to put his hand out far to retrieve the cup from her since he was still facing her way. Feeling his leg start to ache, he turned back around and stretched them out under the table. Then, just as he went to raise his cup to take a sip of tea, he heard Mouse mumble something about tea and bad luck again. He just smiled and put down his cup taking the kettle and filling her own cup up to the brim like he always did. Most found this quiet annoying since it would most likely spill when one picked the cup back up. That was one reason why not many people (who knew him at least) let him get near to pouring theirs. This never bothered him. As long as he had his cup of tea. "There we are," he said with a proud nod toward his work and then picking up his cup again. "Cheers." He lifted the rim of the cup to his lips and let the liquid trickle down his throat. How delightful. In only a moment his share of tea was almost gone. But he always drank his rather quickly since there was always plenty more to be served.

Mouse never minded the fact that he filled the cups all the way to the brim. She almost never spilled the cup either, always adding three lumps, then looking around for the cream that didn't exist, then added another lump, then drank the first few sips as spoonfuls, instead of actual sips. It never bothered her that way.
Doing her usual routine (as stated above) she opened her mouth to comment on the lack of cream, but thought better of it. He was her gracious host, and therefore there was no reason to be picky. After she had used the spoon to get it down to a sippable level, she had to cup the cup in both hands to be able to hold the thing up. "Thank you, Leah." She offered him a warm inviting smile and then took a sip. Mmm, nice a sweet, just as she liked it.
"So.... Tell me, what have you been up to? Just tea parties? No adventures>" It always shocked Mouse that Leah never went out anywhere - EVER. He was always in the tea clearing. Perhaps she would get him to go on a walk with her someday and have a picnic.

Leah nodded at her and then took his cup again to finish his tea off. Splendid. Just like every other thing that lay about the table. Leah found everything on it so delightful and wonderful. But his train of thought was cut off when he heard Mouse ask him a question. He looked down at her for a moment and then turned his eyes toward the sky in thought. With a pondering look on his face, he slouched back in his chair and then took his hat off his head to place it on his knee. A rare thing he did. Never did the hat leave his head unless it fell off. His black silky hair shone softly in the light through the trees as he tilted his head. "No, no adventures for me I'm afraid," he spoke as he looked back over her way. "I simply have my tea parties, Mouse. Nothing more than that, for I am not one to venture far."

Mouse sipped her tea silently as she listened to what he had to say. "Shame that." She finally spoke up. "To never venture past what you know. But, then again, you would never have ended up here if you hadn't ventured past the rabbit hole."
Stirring her tea again rather absent mindedly, she looked about as if in deep thought, "You don't regret that, do you? Was that not a good adventure? Coming here? If you hadn't, you wouldn't have met me, or the March Hare, idiot that he is." She quirked an eyebrow, and then took another sip. "I, personally, love my adventures more than anything - well, save sleeping."
Mouse giggled and then threw a glance at Leah, "But adventures at night are more fun. As long as Celeste isn't messing with you. damn Cat." The two got along like a cat and a mouse, just a whole lot less violent, and Mouse actually fought back.

The March Hare was coming back from his afternoon of drug selling he noticed that the Hatter was talking to the doormouse "Lousey Mouse, I mean we're practically roomies!" he thought but then said "Hey Bro! What's up?" he then looked ta the Doormouse "Sup Mouse?"

The Hatter only looked at the Mouse for a moment after her questions. Yes he did have to venture away from the Rabbit Hole to find this place, but that was the old him. That was the person he didn't know. He was now the Mad Hatter. And the Mad Hatter didn't go far from his clearing. Besides, who would be here if he went exploring and a guest happened to come by? He simply could not take the chance of missing out on a guest. As simple as that. Before he could answer any of the Mouse's questions his best of all friends came into the clearing. A large grin stretched across his as he took his hat and placed in back upon his head and let it slip down his forehead again. "Well if it isn't the March Hare," Leah stated sarcastically poked at his empty tea cup. "Looks like you finally decided to come back for a while. How goes business my friend?"

Mouse made a face like she had just been told that her house had disappeared. She glanced over at the Hare rather unhappily and gave him a weak smile as a greeting, but nothing more. Turning her attention back to Leah, she fully intended to ignore the Hare, but was rather upset when Leah addressed the creature.
